Thanks to some stellar defence, the Seattle Seahawks have defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX Sunday night.
After a defensive first half that saw the Seahawks lead 9-0 over the Patriots, the same trend continued in the third quarter before the fourth quarter exploded with points.
The third quarter featured five three-and-outs, with a fourth field goal by Jason Myers sandwiched in between, as Seattle led 12-0 heading into the fourth quarter.
The scoring came in the final frame, as it would be AJ Barner making the game’s first touchdown on a throw from quarterback Sam Darnold, extending Seattle’s lead to 19-0 early in the fourth.
