After a stink on social media, the Oshawa Generals have apologized for an email to season-ticket holders.
The Ontario Hockey League team issued a mea culpa on Thursday afternoon for a Tuesday email that reminded fans to shower before attending games at the Tribute Communities Centre.
“We’re thrilled to have you with us each and every game and appreciate the energy you bring to the arena,” the email read. “To help ensure a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask for your cooperation with a few simple hygiene practices.
