Having previously been a fixture in our living rooms, Joe Brolly has faded somewhat from the public limelight since his departure from RTÉ’s GAA coverage at the turn of the decade.
The Derry legend had been the star attraction of a brilliant Sunday Game panel for many years, although the national broadcaster would ultimately opt to refresh their offering.
Of course, Brolly has remained involved in the GAA discourse since then. He writes columns for both the Irish Independent and Gaelic Life, while his Free State podcast has also proven to be a big success.
He has also dipped his toe into the coaching pool in recent times, now landing an intriguing management role for 2026.
