Sony Electronics released the new WF-1000XM6 truly wireless earbuds last week, and they’re getting a lot of attention. They offer tons of improvements over their predecessor, notably a 25% reduction in noise thanks to the next generation HD noise canceling processor QN3e, integrated processor V2, adaptive noise canceling optimizer, and four microphones on each earbud.
You get a bone conduction sensor, two microphones for AI beamforming, and AI noise reduction to isolate voices from background noise. The four microphones is an increase from just three in last year’s model.
