Comic strip character Dennis the Menace features on a new commemorative coin, celebrating 75 years of mischief.
The collaboration, between the UK’s Royal Mint and Beano, sees the prankster, wearing his famous red and black striped top, appear with his trusty dog Gnasher.
The 50 pence coin features vibrant colour printing, bringing Dennis and Gnasher to life.
He burst on to the scene on 17 March 1951 in Beano issue 452.
The comic was first published by DC Thomson on 30 July 1938 and has entertained generations of children over its 87-year history, with characters also including Minnie the Minx, The Bash Street Kids and Roger the Dodger.
