6.5-magnitude quake hits Thailand — GFZ-Xinhua

BEIJING, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 jolted Thailand at 1707 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 17.03 degrees north latitude and 101.98 degrees east longitude. ■
