On Saturday, Team Canada beat Britain to win gold in men’s curling. It’s the second Olympic medal for Canadian skip Brad Jacobs, who won gold at the 2014 Games in Sochi.
Earlier in the day, Ivanie Blondin won a silver medal in the long-track speedskating mass start event, and Canada’s women’s curling team beat the United States to win the country’s ninth bronze of the Winter Games.
In total, Canada has 20 medals, including five gold and six silver.
There are just a just a handful of events left in the 2026 Olympics for Canada to add to its medal tally. That includes a possible gold — or at least a silver — in men’s hockey after Team Canada defeated Finland on Friday to advance to the final game…
