Cowan returns to lineup as Maple Leafs renew rivalry with Senators

Craig Berube is looking for a spark to the lineup as the Toronto Maple Leafs look to get back on track.

Easton Cowan will draw in for the first time in almost a month and will skate on a line with Bobby McMann and Nicolas Roy when Toronto takes on the Ottawa Senators on Saturday (7 p.m. on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+), head coach Craig Berube confirmed.

“I just feel like it’s time to get him back in now. I don’t want him sitting out. He needs to play. He’s a young kid, he’s a good player. Taking him out of the lineup, going back to his Seattle game, I felt like he was just a little overwhelmed,” Berube said.
