If the Boston Celtics are trying to play coy about Jayson Tatum’s possible return this season, they’re doing a terrible job of hiding it.
Tatum has missed every Celtics game so far this season as he recovers from an Achilles tendon tear suffered during the second round of last year’s postseason. It’s worth noting that the Celtics, led by MVP-caliber play from Tatum’s running mate, Jaylen Brown, admirably still almost met Phil Jackson’s 40-before-20 criteria without him.
