Brentford picked up an impressive point away from home on Tuesday night, with Keith Andrews’ side showing plenty of resilience to earn a 0-0 draw at Bournemouth.
It was a game that was not short on chances despite the scoreline, especially for the home side. Bournemouth missed a number of goalscoring opportunities, hitting the bar on a couple of occasions and forcing Caoimhín Kelleher into one or two excellent saves.
Brentford did not quite have the same clearcut chances, but they defended well to get what could end up being a valuable point in the race for European football.
