After stepping down as Bihar Chief Minister to contest the Rajya Sabha polls, Janata Dal (United) supremo Nitish Kumar convened a meeting of senior party leaders on Friday. At the meeting, several MLAs expressed disappointment over his decision, sources said.
Nitish Kumar, who held the top post in Bihar a record ten times, was urged by some legislators to reconsider the move. According to sources, he assured them that he would remain closely involved in state affairs.
