The tenants in 36 homes in Bridgetown, Co Wexford are to have the eviction notices previously issued to them withdrawn.
The landlord, Patchflow Ltd has said it recognises the “concern and uncertainty” that has arisen in recent weeks for tenants living in the Hazelwood housing estate.
A representative for the landlord issued a total of 36 households with Notices of Termination last Friday, just two days before the Government’s new rental rules came into effect.
As a result, around 100 people had been left in limbo after being told that the landlord intends to sell their properties.
