THE Department of Agriculture (DA) on Sunday said it is investigating five government-contracted fertilizer suppliers following complaints of poor product quality.
The probe covers Agri-Victorius Trading Corp., DQB Green Agricultural Products Trading, Valap Inc., Dos Asia Chemical Trading Corp., and Rova Fertilizer Manufacturing.
These companies’ products had previously been flagged during quality tests at the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA). The investigation would determine whether the products meet government standards.
