Epomaker Luma100: A New Low-Profile Mechanical Keyboard
Epomaker unveiled the Luma100, a 96% wireless mechanical keyboard, at CES 2026, following the release of the more compact Luma40. TechPowerUp first reported on the new keyboard on March 10th, 2026.
Compact Form Factor with Full Functionality
The Luma100 aims to deliver the benefits of a full-size mechanical keyboard in a more streamlined design. Measuring 37.1 × 12.85 cm with a front height of 23mm, the keyboard features a 96% layout that retains the number pad while minimizing overall size. Design and Features
Unlike the Luma40’s tray mount, the Luma100 utilizes a gasket mount for improved typing perceive. It features ABS DSA low-profile keycaps with shine-through legends and north-facing RGB backlighting. The keyboard departs from the Luma40’s ortholinear layout, adopting a more conventional row-staggered design. The chassis is constructed from aluminum.
Custom Switches and Connectivity
The Luma100 incorporates custom Gateron low-profile switches, building upon the Gateron Low-Profile 2.0 standard. These switches feature clear PC housings and a light green stem, differentiating them from standard Gateron offerings. The keyboard offers tri-mode connectivity, supporting wired USB Type-C, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connections. It is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
Software and Customization
Users can customize the Luma100 using VIA software, allowing for remapping, backlighting adjustments, and macro creation. A JSON file is required for VIA to recognize the keyboard.
Portability and Battery Life
Weighing just 0.62 kg, the Luma100 is lightweight and portable, making it suitable for on-the-head use. It includes a slim folio case for added protection during travel. The keyboard is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
