Negeri Sembilan’s religious authorities have found a balanced way to allow Sufism to thrive while respecting Islam’s orthodoxy.
Negeri Sembilan has adopted a constructive and forward-looking approach in permitting more than 20 Sufi orders (ṭarīqah ortarekat) to operate and be formally registered under the Enactment on Sufi Orders (Enakmen Tarekat Tasawuf, Negeri Sembilan) 2005.
