It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eileen, in her 96th year, on Thursday 12th March 2026.
She was surrounded by her loving family and in the care of staff at Central Park Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Mark, her sisters Mary Glynn (Cong), Bridie O’Brien (Northampton) and daughter-in-law Bernie (Lanesborough).
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family. Her children: Jimmy, Mary, Michael, Luke and Mark; her siblings Nora and Louis; her son-in-law Seamus Heaney and daughters-in-law Caroline, Shirley and Aileen; her adored grandchildren…
