Gardaí are investigating after a woman’s body was found in unexplained circumstances in a Cork suburb on Friday evening.
Emergency services were called to a property in Innishmore Park, Ballincollig, after 5pm.
The Cork mother, aged in her early 30s, is believed to have died a violent death. She has been named locally as Kelly Cremin.
Her body was to be taken to the morgue at Cork University Hospital for an autopsy, which is expected to take place on Saturday.
The results of the autopsy will determine the course of the investigation.
The crime scene was sealed off and a forensics team were due to conduct a technical examination at the house.
