Sudarshan Yellamaraju is making the most of his Players Championship debut.
The Canadian rookie shot a bogey-free 66 on Saturday to soar up the leaderboard, sitting 5-under for the tournament.
Yellamaraju is eight back of leader Ludvig Aberg.
Yellamaraju’s round was the lowest of the day at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., when he entered the clubhouse, though Robert MacIntyre later shot 65.
He was also leading all players in both strokes gained: tee to green and strokes gained: putting when he finished up on 18.
