Ottawa Senators defenceman Dennis Gilbert left Saturday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs early after taking a hard hit from Maple Leafs defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
Head coach Travis Green said via Postmedia’s Bruce Garrioch after the game that Gilbert would be out for a while. He did not have a specific update on Gilbert’s injury.
