A Modular Approach to Garden Care
Taking care of a garden often requires a collection of specialized tools. The Yarbo M aims to consolidate these tools into a single, versatile unit. Its modular design allows users to swap attachments, transforming the robot for different jobs. Available modules include a lawn mower, snow plow, and leaf collector.
How it Works
Setting up the Yarbo M is similar to setting up a robot vacuum cleaner. Users utilize a mobile app to map out the areas they want the robot to work in. Once mapped, the robot can autonomously perform its assigned tasks.
Yarbo M Models: M10, M20, and M20i
Yarbo offers three models of the M robot:
- M10: Suitable for gardens up to one acre.
- M20: Capable of covering up to 1.5 acres and features a longer battery life.
- M20i: Equipped with LiDAR sensors and AI-powered cameras for obstacle detection.
Power and Performance
The Yarbo M is powered by a 20Ah battery and supports 630W wireless fast-charging, taking between 30 and 80 minutes to fully charge, depending on the model. The robot automatically returns to its charging dock when the battery level drops below 10 percent. The M20i model offers up to 110 minutes of runtime in mowing mode, enabling it to maintain gardens larger than five acres.
Availability and Pricing
Yarbo launched the M series on Kickstarter with the following early backer pricing:
- M10 (Base Unit): $2,199
- M10 (with all modules): $4,199
- M20i (with all modules): $4,899
- M20i (Mower Module Only): $3,299
If the Kickstarter campaign is successful, the Yarbo M robots are expected to begin shipping in August.
