Nuki has announced the launch of the Keypad 2 NFC, a new accessory designed to bring contactless unlocking to its range of Matter-enabled smart door locks. The device uses Near Field Communication technology, allowing users to unlock their doors by holding a compatible smartphone or smartwatch close to the keypad. As Nuki’s Smart Lock and Keypad products are sold separately, the new keypad can also be added to existing installations as an upgrade.
The Keypad 2 NFC supports tap-to-unlock via Apple HomeKey or Samsung Digital Home Key when used alongside a Matter-enabled Nuki Smart Lock, a compatible Matter hub, and a supported mobile device.
