Indonesia Ramps Up Waste-to-Energy Projects in 30 Sites

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Minister of Agriculture Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) stated that the Indonesian government is accelerating the development of waste-to-energy projects in 30 locations across the country. He mentioned that the acceleration is a direct order from President Prabowo to address the waste emergency, especially in areas with daily waste accumulation exceeding 1,000 tons.
