All Google users in the U.S. now can change their Gmail usernames included in their email addresses.
The tech company began rolling out the feature last year, but now is available to all U.S. users, according to Google’s “The Keyword” blog.
Users then can enter their new desired username. The username must be one that is not being used by another Google Account, and it cannot be one that was used by someone in the past and then deleted.
They then can click “Change email,” then “Yes, change email” and follow the rest of the steps on the screen.
After changing the email address, a user’s previous Google Account email ending in gmail.com will become an alternate email address. They will receive emails to both the new and old email addresses, and the data saved in their Google…
