The report further states that the upcoming Rainbow Six title is reportedly still one or two years away but is targeting a release on current-gen platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and possibly Nintendo Switch 2.
Although the game falls under the Rainbow Six IP, it is currently unclear whether the title will be published by Ubisoft or by the studio’s new subsidiary established in collaboration with Tencent, presumably due to the uncertainty surrounding the deal and Ubisoft itself stating they have no idea yet how it will be handled.
