HP’s answer to the MacBook Neo is thinner, lighter, and comes with OLED
HP enters the affordable laptop competition with the OmniBook 5 14, retailing starting at $699.99. Designed to challenge Apple's MacBook Neo, the new Windows laptop features an OLED touchscreen and is built with a slim, colorful aluminum body available in four colors. HP Launches OmniBook 5 14 To Compete With MacBook Neo
HP enters the affordable laptop competition with the OmniBook 5 14, retailing starting at $699.99. Why it matters
Apple's aggressive pricing with the MacBook Neo caught the PC market off guard earlier this year, prompting competitors to respond with similarly positioned hardware. Affordable laptops typically force buyers to choose between high-end screen technology and portable designs. HP attempts to bridge this gap by packing an OLED touchscreen into a lightweight chassis at a competitive price point.
