MANILA – Assistance provided by the national government and its local counterparts to families affected by the eruption of Mt. Kanlaon last Dec. 9 has reached PHP164.48 million, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Thursday.
In its latest situation update, the council said PHP109.95 million was extended to Central Visayas and PHP54.53 million to Western Visayas.
