AdHawk Deal for Smart Glasses, New Gemma 3 Models Unveiled

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) is reportedly in late-stage talks to acquire AdHawk Microsystems, a Canada-based startup specializing in eye-tracking technology for augmented and virtual reality devices, according to Bloomberg.

The acquisition, valued at $115 million (including $15 million in performance-based payments), could be completed as soon as this week. If finalized, AdHawk would become part of Google’s Android XR team, which is focused on integrating artificial intelligence into headsets and smart glasses.
