SAN JOSE, Calif. — Dylan Kordic is believed to be the first and only player in Cal Poly’s Division I history to hit two home runs in one inning, leading the way for the Mustangs to clobber San Jose State 18-4 on the road and stay undefeated in midweek games this season.
Beating the Spartans (10-6, 0-0 MWC) continues a fantastic 9-1 stretch for Cal Poly (10-6, 3-0 BWC) since upsetting No. 1 Texas A&M back in February. During this run, Mustang hitters are batting at an astounding .352 clip and averaging 10.9 runs per game.
