Carlow boss Curran quits after seven games in charge

Shane Curran has vacated his post as Carlow senior football manager after last than a year in charge due to “player-related issues”.
A mixed Allianz League campaign saw Carlow finishing fourth in the Division 4 table, having won three games, lost three and drawn one.
Roscommon native Curran took over the Barrowsiders last August, succeeding Niall Carew in the job, and his last game in charge was a one-point victory over London four days ago.
