MORE heads will roll amid the continuing investigation of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) over claims that there is a dedicated airport immigration counter that facilitates the departure of illegally recruited Filipino workers who eventually ended up working in scam hubs in neighboring Asian countries.
Immigration spokesman Dana Sandoval said that the alleged connivance of some unscrupulous immigration officers with human trafficking syndicates is one of the ways that trafficking victims were able to smoothly leave the country.
