Swedish distance runner andreas Almgren delivered a stellar performance at the Drammen 5K in Norway, securing a decisive victory and setting a new Swedish record. Almgren’s time of 13:05 fell just eight seconds short of the coveted European record, highlighting his remarkable form and potential on the international stage.
A Solo Effort Against the Elements

Almgren reflected on the challenges after the race: It felt great until the hare got off, but it blew a lot, and when I was alone at the front I felt the wind.
Despite these hurdles,he expressed satisfaction with his current form, stating,Given where I am in the season,I am in a good place. I am much better now than at the same time last year.
