Rugby Australia and the Queensland Reds are pleased to confirm Josh Canham has signed a contract extension through to the end of 2027.
Already signed for next year, Canham’s extension has seen him re-commit to Australian Rugby until at least the home Rugby World Cup in just under two years’ time.
Born in the USA, Canham grew up in Melbourne, playing his first Rugby for the Harlequin Junior Rugby Club – the same junior club as fellow Wallabies Rob Valetini and Hunter Paisami.
He continued to develop in the Victorian Rugby system and was selected for the Australia Under 20s in 2021, before making his Super Rugby debut for the Melbourne Rebels in 2022.
