Motorcycle Crash Claims Life on Jacksonville’s Westside
Jacksonville, Fla. – A man in his late 40s died Thursday night after a motorcycle accident on Crystal Springs Road near Chaffee Road S., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).
The crash occurred around 11:37 p.m. When the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Crystal Springs Rd. JSO reports that the man veered to the left, striking the center median curb and a tree. He was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident marks the 28th traffic fatality in Duval County this year and the 7th involving a motorcycle, as reported by JSO.
