Jays Beat Orioles 6-4 – Bluebird Banter

Another quality win. The Jays remain in first place in the fake standings, a game and a half up on Boston with 10 to play.

Easton Lucas got off to a decent start, retiring the Orioles in order in the first. They were able to jump him in the second, though. Back to back doubles and a single gave Baltimore one run and men on the corners. Vladimir Guerrero jr. made a diving stop on a hard grounder by the next batter, Luis Velazquez. He opted to go home to try to prevent the run, but Nick Gordon was too fast and narrowly beat the throw.
